Day: 1-8 New York to Louisiana
Explore the best of America's Capital - from the Smithsonian Museum to the Lincoln Memorial, before heading on to the rolling green slopes of the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. In Tennessee you’ll also have the option to set off on a white water rafting trip. Get taste of true southern hospitality and country tunes in Alabama and Mississippi, then it’s on to Louisiana, home of the Big Easy & Bourbon Street where jazz is the name of the game! Round off your week in Louisiana with an optional choice of a swamp tour through the bayous of Cajun country and 4 nights in Texas!
Day: 9-16 San Antonio to Grand Canyon National Park
Check out the Alamo, symbol of Texan pride and independence from Mexico, delight your taste buds with spicy fajitas and tacos, wander through Carlsbad Caverns, visit the famous Roswell UFO Museum, and head into desert to see the iconic Monument Valley, home to amazing buttes, massive mesas and ancient Navajo secrets.
Last but not least a trip to one of America’s world renowned Grand Canyon. Hike along the rim at sunrise, take on the Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point and prepare to be dazzled by the incredible natural beauty!
Day: 17-21 Lake Powell to Los Angeles
Admire the deep blue waters of Lake Powell, a stunning man-made desert oasis before journeying on to Zion National Park, where you’ll find that tricky treks lead to amazing and very worthwhile views! After all of that outdoor scenery it’s time to hit the city and check out Las Vegas; cruise the strip in a super-stretch limo, feast your eyes on the sea of neon or try your luck at the casinos. Cap it all off with a drive across the desert to LA, soak up the California sun and chill on the beach before you say goodbye to the USA!
