Set sail from Bodrum for an idyllic week aboard a traditional gulet exploring Turkey’s beautiful Aegean coast and Greek island hopping, discovering ancient cities on the way.
We begin in the popular yet charming resort of Bodrum on Turkey’s coast. Setting sail we stop for a swim in Knidos with time to explore this ancient Greek city. We cruise the azure blue waters of Direskbuku on the way to the fishing town of Bozburun. Discover the ancient history of Rhodes with its monumental city wall and stone-paved roads. We next anchor at the enchanting island of Symi, covered in pine and oak forests with beautiful bays. Visit the Monastery of Panormitis or simply swim in the pristine waters. Nisiros is our next stop where you can visit the active Nikea Volcano. Sulphur gases rise up from the ground giving the crater an eerie atmosphere. Build a sandcastle on a stretch of Kos’ 290km long beach or be a sun lizard and soak up the rays. Enjoy lunch and a swim in Poyraz Bay on Black Island before returning to Bodrum.
