Journey overland from India to Nepal on the road less travelled with our definitive tour covering everything from incredible wildlife and spectacular panoramas to holy cities and an intoxicating mix of cultures.
See the best of the old and the new in Delhi, India’s bustling capital. Enjoy a stately elephant ride in the Pink City of Jaipur as we explore the Amber Fort. Discover rural India in Perharsar as we walk the atmospheric backstreets and visit a village school. Get your binoculars out as we visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park and enjoy a rickshaw ride, spotting wildlife along the way. Travel to the abandoned yet magnificent fortified city of Fatehpur Skiri before touring the legendary Taj Mahal and witnessing a spectacular golden sunset. Heading south, explore the temples and palaces of Orchha and on to Khajuarho. Famed for its stunning temples depicting scenes from the Karma Sutra, Khajuarho tells another side to India’s fascinating past! Enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges River in Varanasi and watch the city come alive as people flock to the river banks for their ritual cleansing. Heading north to Nepal we visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and explore the Chitwan National Park with the possibility of seeing the one horned rhino. Soak up the stunning views of the Annapurna range in Pokhara before ending in the fascinating medieval city of Kathmandu.
As well as guided sightseeing our tour includes airport transfers and all relevant transportation. Staying in 3-4* accommodation and heritage hotels, breakfast is included daily and we welcome you to India with a special Namaste dinner.
