First stop is Hollywood for a tour of Tinseltown before cruising up the spectacular California coastline to Big Sur. Next, visit the beautiful Monterey Peninsula for shopping or kayaking en route to the 'City by the Bay', San Francisco; walk across Golden Gate Bridge, sail past Alcatraz, stroll through Chinatown, and ride the famous cable cars.

Then, head into the mountains and the breathtaking beauty of Yosemite National Park, with its glacially carved valleys and majestic Sequoia trees. Cross Nevada's vast openness into Utah's superb wilderness. You will have plenty of time to discover Utah's great diversity as you travel to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Arches National Parks - where various hikes, mountain bike rides and scenic river trips are possible amidst the splendour of colourful canyons and magnificent rock formations.

Cross the San Juan River and enter the Navajo Indian Reservation - ride tall in the saddle or hang on tight for a jeep ride before setting up camp on the edge of Monument Valley. Ride a waverunner over the deep blue waters of Lake Powell or just soak up the sun before coming face to face with the most awe-inspiring of all, Grand Canyon National Park.

Spend a day exploring its depths, take a scenic flight, or just take time to sit quietly on the edge of this wondrous place.

Then it's showtime in the neon capital of the world - Las Vegas. Spend your days cooling off by the pool and your nights heating up on the infamous Strip. Have a whale of a time at SeaWorld or the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Rent bicycles, rollerblade, learn to surf or just enjoy the time relaxing on the beach before returning to Los Angeles for a fun-filled day at Universal Studios.
