Make your own way to Alice Springs and see the Red Centre visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Kings Canyon.

Hello East coast! This is the classic northbound pass. Leave Sydney and head north and learn to surf lesson at Surf Camp, have a didgeridoo demonstration in Rainbow Beach, stay at an Aussie cattle station, barefoot bowling in Outback Queensland on the way to Cairns and much more. Your guide helps with accommodation and activity booking so you’re free to enjoy yourself some more. You’re on holiday after all! But wait, there’s more…get yourself to the Red centre and do a 3 day Uluru (Ayers Rock) Safari. The ‘must sees’ taken care of in one sweet package.

How it works

Minimum recommended trip time: 25 Days
Maximum time to complete trip: 6 Months

Once you have your pass you can book on and off the bus by calling 1300 300 028 (cost of local call in Australia). You can start anywhere along the route, travel in a big circle and finish in the same place you started. You can only travel in one direction. You can stay in each destination for as long as you like. Oz Experience buses will pass through regularly - just phone or email to book a seat when you want to leave. (You can book a seat up to the day before you want to leave, though we advise that you book further ahead at peak times.)

Once you’ve got your pass, just phone or email Oz Experience to book your seat on your first bus. The Oz Experience pass is valid for 6 months, which may be extended locally for a fee (AUD$50). You cannot buy the pass more than 12 months in advance of your trip.

Cancellations and Refunds

Bookings made with Oz Experience direct: 10% cancellation fee applies before commencement of travel. No refund after travel has commenced. Bookings made with a Travel Agent: Please refer to your agent who may charge fees in addition to the above.
