Volunteers in a good physical shape will find the building work easier-so hit the gym before you come! There will be plenty of work to be done so prepare yourself for a busy time full of different activities. Sri Lanka is a tropical climate so weather is changeable; therefore a love of the outdoors in all its glory is advised! The local community is warm friendly and easy going so people with those characteristics will fit in well. Building experience is not necessary but if you have a specific skill it will be welcomed.

It is a busy city full of shops, markets, bars, discos, and cafes. The town has excellent reliable and cheap road and air access to all parts of Honduras.
