In small groups we travel through Tanzania. We Learn, we Volunteer, we Explore! 3 Phases = 1 unforgettable travel experience.

Learn - Week 1

Allow the friendly Chagga people to introduce you to Tanzania and become accustomed to the African weather, food, transport and pace of life. Our informal Swahili lessons are conducted on an informal basis by our ever willing hosts.

Volunteer Weeks 2 - 3

Contribute on a conservation project replanting the Mpingo tree which is essential to the region’s biodiversity. Related to this is a primary school education programme where you will teach the 'Roots & Shoots' ideals of caring for the environment. The idea is that if young children understand conservation, as they grow up, the ideals remain second nature. You will be working hand-in-hand with the ever friendly Chagga people at the foothills of Kilimanjaro

Explore Weeks 4 - 5

Safari time! Look out for hippos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, leopards and the rare tree-climbing lions in Tarangire National Park. Climb to the roof of Africa with a challenging 7 day trek to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. We follow the 'Whiskey' route which maximises our chances of success. After reaching the top and returning to sea level it’s time to relax with a well earned rest on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Snorkel in its turquoise waters and unwind on its pristine beaches.

All this is possible with this unique 3 phase ethical venture.

This is an all-inclusive trip with full support and a range of services provided before during and after the Venture. You will be accompanied by VentureCo guides throughout the whole journey as well as in country project and activity co-ordinators.

Funding for our development projects comes directly from the VentureCo Trust. For each person that joins a Venture, we as a company, donate a set amount to the Trust. 100% of the money the Trust receives is spent on projects. To date, the Trust has funded 63 development projects around the world.
