Product Details

Most of our programmes are based in the capital city of Ulaan Baatar, which has the feel of a Soviet city with tower blocks surrounding the focal point of Sukhbaatar Square. Yet, on the edge of the city families live in traditional ‘gers’.

Are you passionate about sport, full of energy and enthusiasm and keen to share your interest with others? This project offers you the chance to use your sporting talents whilst interacting with the local school children and to get involved in local community life.

Physical fitness is a high priority in the schools of Ulaan Baatar. During term time there are many opportunities to get involved with coaching a variety of sports. If you specialise in a particular sport you can dedicate your time to teaching the sport you love. Volleyball and basketball are popular sports taught in the schools, or if you would prefer you can help teach athletics.

During the summer months you could work at a summer camp, situated just outside the capital city. You could help with football, table tennis, volleyball or basketball, the list of sports is endless.
