Product Details
For applicants from the UK, we have a number of bursary schemes available for volunteers from a variety of backgrounds.
Our bursary scheme and funded placement projects reduce the barrier of cost for young people experiencing financial problems. They are designed to help young people who would not otherwise be able to afford to go.

Schools placements
Lattitude placements are largely working within private (often boarding) schools, where volunteers work as junior members of staff. Nearly all placements are for the full school year. You may coach sport, music or drama, help with lessons or administration.
Caring placements
Particularly rewarding placements are with the L’Arche Foundation, where you will care for adults with mental disabilities by living in and sharing the work of family-type homes. If you would like to know how many vacancies are currently available for this placement, please contact us by using the enquiry form or telephone number below.
Qualities/skills required
An ability to speak Spanish is desirable, however if you have no Spanish but are willing to learn, you may also be considered.
Our users say..."Looking around the available agencies with the help of my careers counsellor, internet, parents and friends, I came to the decision that Lattitude was the only agency that offered everything I was looking for - a wide variety of placements, security (both for me and my parents) and value for money. After meeting with them in their offices in Reading we agreed that Camp Campbell Gard would be the most suitable placement for me. I spent months raising the money by doing a sponsored 10km run, receiving a bursary from my school, working as much as I could and saving as I knew it’d be worth it. Though when it came to the day I was due to fly out I was petrified! Hundreds of thoughts flew through my head - 'Was this the right choice?' 'What happens if I don’t like it?' But when I walked through the door of my new house on camp I felt right at home. I knew right then that the next 8 months would be unforgettable.
