Water Zone
Water Zone
If you're only happy when you're on, in, or under the water, then this is the section for you.
In the water zone you'll find everything to do with water sports and hobbies. On your gap year you'll have the opportunity to try some of the most amazing adventure sports. Where else are you going to have the opportunity to kite surf and scuba dive? Or if you fancy something a little more relaxing, why don’t you try snorkelling in pristine tropical waters.
People who have never considered any water sports before all of a sudden find themselves 18 metres underwater or throwing themselves down grade-four river rapids.
It doesn’t matter whether you're just starting out or an old seadog, there really is something for everyone. So take a look and see what you can find…

Scuba diving is as close as most of us will get to being in an alien environment. Swimming next to a sea turtle, 20 meters under the surface of the sea, breathing comfortably, can certainly be quite a bizarre experience!
With a bit of guidance however, all should be able to savour this unique experience. That's why we recomment reading Warrick Howard's Guide to Scuba Diving. It covers everything you need to know and tells you where some of the best dive spots are in the world.
