Product Details

You Aussie Fun Down Under is a perfect choice for shorter trips, or an excellent start to a working holiday in Oz. The programme will provide you with a memorable first week in Australia, it includes 7 days of fun stuff like pub crawls, wine tasting and surf lessons with a group of like-minded travellers.

A great Australia gap package especially if you are worried about travelling alone. Group flights mean you can make friends on the flight over.

Before you depart we send out a contact list to everyone - you can arrange to meet at the airport and get to know one another before you arrive!

Programme Itinerary - 7 days of fun

What better way start your time in Australia than to have 7 days of pre-arranged fun with a group of young and like-minded travellers.

Day 1: Arrival and Sydney tower welcome meal

After you've caught up on your sleep we have an exciting night planned! You’ll have dinner at Sydney’s Centrepoint rotating tower and then head on to a few of Sydney’s most popular backpacker bars for a free drink in each!

Day 2: Free Time

Chill out, go shopping, sightseeing, whatever takes your fancy!

Day 3: Hunter Valley Wine Trip

Hunter Valley is famous for it’s vino! Taste over 30 different wines!

In the morning you'll visit a reptile park to see spiders, snakes, crocodiles and other native Australian wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos & wombats.

Day 4: Surf Trip (Summer)/ Jet Boating (Winter)

Surfing – Your chance to become an Aussie surf dude!

A 3-hour surf lesson. Instructors will teach you how to catch waves and ride them all the way to the beach! Plus a tour of Sydney’s stunning Northern beaches including a trip to Home & Away’s Summer Bay!

Jet boating – An exhilarating jet boat ride around Sydney Harbour.

Day 5: Beach BBQ

Relax, soak up the sun, practice your surfing and play beach games. An all-you-can-eat BBQ will be prepared for you with a free drink!

Day 6: Zoo and Pub Crawl

You’ll start the day down at circular quay where you’ll catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo. In the evening you’ll visit 5 of Sydney’s best bars and clubs. You’ll get a free drink in each plus a free t-shirt and group photo!

Day 7: Sydney Harbour Cruise

A leisurely day after a big night. This will be a great way to kick back, relax and soak up the sights of Sydney.

Programme Location

You will need to fly into Sydney to receive your airport transfer, accommodation and first 7 days fun activities. However after this you are free to stay around Sydney or go off around Oz to explore!

Programme Accommodation

You will stay in the funky 'Wake Up' hostel conveniently located right next to Central station and near plenty of shops, restaurants and the best bars. It has loads of facilities and is the perfect base for anyone visiting Sydney!
