Day 1- 8


Kick off your Thai adventure in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok; you’ll take a tour of the city taking in the magnificent Grand Palace, Wat Arun (known as the Temple of the Dawn) and Wat Po; home of the Reclining Buddha and probably Thailand’s most famous temple. 


On to Kanchanaburi, a lovely town situated on the River Kwai made famous by its bridge, you’ll get a glimpse of the bridge on a magical boat trip before heading to Erawan National park, where you can feast your eyes on incredible waterfalls and freshwater pools.


After all that relaxation it’s time to get cooking, Thai style, learn inside secrets then prepare a fabulous Thai meal that will set you up for a visit to Sai Yok waterfall and a tour of 3 amazing temples in Kanchanaburi where you will learn all about Buddhism.


Day 9 - 14


Set off for Sangkhlaburi, a small town in the hills that is one of Thailand’s most secluded spots and also one of the most stunning locations in the whole of South East Asia. Explore the sights and go on an elephant ride!


Time to start your volunteer project, there are a whole range of community options to get involved with from working in orphanages in and around Sangkhlaburu to helping out at local schools. You will principally have the choice of teaching English or helping out with childcare, depending on the needs of the project when you arrive.


Day 15 - 17


After a walking tour of Sangkhlaburi’s amazing scenery and white water rafting trip along the river, you’ll have a free weekend to explore; visit the temples on the other side of town or just take some time out.

 

Days 18 -20


Back to your volunteer project where there’s a still a lot of work to be done and lots of youngsters who will be grateful for any help you can give.

 

Day 21 - 30


Cross the Warichalongkon Lake to visit the Mon people where you’ll be in for an action packed time; see the Mon Temple and Golden Pagoda, wander through the border market, go river tubing and party with the locals. Chill out at a nearby waterfall and hot springs before travelling to Kho Pha Ngan an amazing island paradise with stunning beaches, where you will spend the rest of your trip exploring and lapping up the sunshine!
