Sport & Extreme in Brazil

This placement would suit:

an adventurous, football-loving person who is keen to help some of Rio’s poorest children. This football academy aims to give kids a chance to flourish in all sorts of ways (sport, academic and social). Volunteers can help with football but can also get involved with music, dance, basic English teaching and computing - a flexible attitude will help you (and them) get the most out of it, We’ll accommodate you in a safe and buzzy district of Rio where you’ll enjoy the nightlife and culture. This means you will need to be prepared to travel about an hour each way to reach the Academy.

Anybody enthusiastic about sports and looking for a worthwhile and fulfilling adventure in Brazil! No qualifications needed but you must have a good understanding of your sport.

If you'd like to extend your project once you're there, you can do so. The cost will be £115 per additional week.

This placement can be extended for any length of time (many of our volunteers do!), subject to availability and any visa restrictions that may apply.
