As a specialist drama counselor on a summer camp you'll be in your element, playing fun drama games, helping your group to put together sketches and even putting on a play. You don't need any qualifications, just lots of energy and creativity.

CCUSA are offering amazing placement opportunities across the USA working with children at American summer camps. You could be teaching your favourite skill over in the States. We have placements working in drama, dance and performing arts with children from all kinds of backgrounds, aged from aged six to 17.

We provide the visa, insurance, return flights, food and accommodation for nine weeks, plus a great wage. In return you get to work in America, having a great experience in the sun and getting paid for it... what else could you want! If you are enthusiastic and love the idea of working in a different culture, whilst doing what you love the most - working with children in sports, arts, science, performing arts etc, you have just found the ideal job for the summer!

We pride ourselves on giving you the 'perfect placement', as you choose exactly what style of camp you would like to work at - we work with eight different types. You also choose exactly what age group to work with, and what type of job you want to do - either specialist or general. Then our fantastic team in the USA will match you up with the perfect camp. You must be available for nine weeks, starting any time between mid May and late June.

Qualifications required

If you are interested in working with children, then this is definitely for you! Please don't worry if you do not have any experience or qualifications (even better if you do), because as long as you are outgoing, patient, have loads of energy, enjoy working with children and think you can make a child's summer the best ever, then you are a perfect candidate!
