The Canadian
Make your own history as you retrace the western transcontinental route that, early last century, opened the west and created a bond of steel that redefined this amazing nation.
Depart Vancouver on this three day and night journey and explore Canada's diversity in comfort and style as you head through the majestic Rockies to big-sky country and on to the enchanting lakes and forests of Ontario before arriving in energetic Toronto.
The Canadian is scheduled to ensure daylight viewing of the Rockies so that you get the best views, also the train stops off en-route to allow you to stretch your legs in places such as Sioux Lookout, Winnipeg, Edmonton etc.
Alternatively why not break your journey somewhere along the route - Jasper maybe to explore the Rockies. Or if feeling really adventurous why not arrange for the train to stop at a pre-determined point and push your canoe from the baggage car straight into one of the pristine lakes en-route.
