Corridor Pass

Most of Ontario's and Quebec's populations reside in the south and between the larger cities are a whole host of small towns interspersed with beautiful lakes and rivers.

The most famous of these cities are: Toronto, visit in summer for the vibrant festival season and don't forget to visit the CN tower, the highest freestanding structure in world.

Ottawa the nation's capital has amazing nightlife, hundreds of museums and endless cultural activities. Quebec City with its amazing location is the historic jewel of the area and also boasts North America's first Ice Hotel. Last but not least. Montreal is an intriguing blend of English and French that should not be missed.

Why buy this

As well as cosmopolitan Montreal (with it's underground city), and Toronto, Quebec City and Ottawa there is also Niagara Falls and a whole host of other smaller towns and villages just waiting to be explored. Places like Kitchener with its Oktoberfest or Stratford with its annual Shakespeare festival.

Of course you might just want to visit your home towns' namesake in Canada, just for the hell of it. Places like Aldershot, Kingston, Chatham or Chelmsford, all familiar names but in a very different setting. The fact is that this pass gives you the flexibility to do what you want, when you want to, and when you're ready you can move on. Our trains are fast, frequent and comfortable.

How it works

  • When booking a Corridor pass you must provide us with your first journey.
  • You will be issued with a voucher, which must be exchanged at this first station for your actual pass.
  • Before boarding the train you must take your pass and passport to the ticket office where they will issue a ticket for your journey.
  • You must have a reservation for each journey, these can be booked at the same time as your pass or once you arrive in Canada, book early to avoid disappointment.
  • Reservations prior to arrival in Canada may incur extra charges - please check before booking.
  • VIA Rail only sell the same number of tickets as there are seats on board.
  • If you do not have a reservation you will not be allowed to board unless there is space available - standing is not an option.

VIA Rail

Choose the comfort of rail and see the whole country, even the small towns. Via Rail passes mean that your trip is limited only by your imagination. Pick from National passes, regional passes, or point to point tickets.
