If you are interested in working in the outdoors, but not in a client-facing role, then this could be the position for you. Or maybe you are considering a break from the normal 9-5 and fancy trying something completely different. We offer Driver roles in many of our UK centres and also abroad on a seasonal basis.
You may also have the chance to try your centre's activities during your free time, building up your personal competency in the process.
Skills
We're looking for people who are enthusiastic, enjoy working as part of a fast-paced team and who are willing to learn.
All of our General Assistant-Drivers must be over 18 and hold a full UK Driving License. Driver positions in our centres in France must be at least 21 and hold a full UK Driving license.
Duties
Within this role you will undertake general driving duties including running errands, moving equipment and staff. You will not be responsible for transporting children.
In addition to this you will look after all centre vehicles ensuring that they are kept clean, presentable and in good working order. Other duties may include assisting with the general presentation of the centre - making sure that our guests have a good first impression.
You may also participate in evening entertainments for our guests.
Training
No experience in this area? No worries! Anyone who joins the PGL Staff team for the first time with limited or no previous experience can join us on the PGL Apprenticeship Scheme. This provides an industry-leading package of training, support and qualifications, enabling people to join PGL at a range of experience levels and will equip you with the skills and confidence to perform your role. There are no age restrictions on our apprenticeship programme.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced CRB disclosure, which PGL will pay for.
