Letz Live is an Australian based organisation that assists young people in their quest for an exciting Gap year experience. At Letz Live we ensure you are placed in a safe and welcoming environment in one of the world's leading boarding schools as their 'Gap Assistant'. All our placements are inclusive of food, accommodation, and a weekly allowance.
Letz Live currently offers Gap placements throughout Australia, Canada, China, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and the United Kingdom, ranging from three to twelve months in duration.
Your Gap placement in a leading Thai Boarding School will not only have you working as a member of the school's staff, but you will also have the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in all aspects of the school's community. Some schools may require their Gap assistant to be competent in a particular discipline; it may be on the sporting pitch, the performing arts or in the classroom (maybe all three!). You may also be involved in duties assisting the school's ground staff, individual tutoring, escorting students to medical appointments or school reception duties. Whatever the situation may be, it's a great opportunity for you to try your hand at a range of new challenges!
A placement with Letz Live allows you to gain independence and confidence through caring for students in a boarding school environment whilst becoming accustomed to the Thai way of life. Furthermore, those Gap assistants who embrace the challenges and responsibilities of their time abroad may even be rewarded with duties that involve travel to national or international destinations!
During school holiday periods, you are free to travel and venture off across Thailand or visit nearby South East Asia. At all times during your placements and indeed prior to your departure you will have continued and constant support from our Australian office and Asia based representatives.

Spending time abroad through Letz Live is perhaps one of the most economical ways to explore the world! Who do we accept?
We only accept mature, reliable and independent individuals with a sense of humor and a willingness to become completely immersed in the school community and the Thai way of life! If this is you, we look forward to welcoming you to Thailand! Participants also must meet the relevant visa and entry clearances, and must be aged 17 to 25 years upon arrival into Thailand (you can find more information via our website).

Once you have been accepted, you will be given an emergency contact number so we are literally only a telephone (or a text message) away should you require our immediate assistance. We have representatives based in Australia, the United Kingdom, North Asia and North America who are on-hand should something untoward arise.

Application process
Register your interest online via our website (www.letzlive.org/apply). Once application has been completed in full, our recruitment team will contact your nominated referees before arranging a pre-screening telephone interview with you. Your pre-screening interview is with a past Letz Live participant who will tell you about their experiences abroad, as well as answer any questions or queries you may have (we find that the best way to find out the ins and outs of a Gap year is straight from the horses mouth!). Once this has been completed, we will organize a mutually-convenient time for your formal interview with our recruitment team. Upon completion of your formal interview, we will commence placement formalities (assuming suitability).
