Thinking of volunteering in central or south east Asia? We have a number options to volunteer in Asia or for a gap year in Asia. These projects offer support to sustainable project development in areas of social welfare, education, medical relief and wildlife conservation. We offer care projects in India, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

What you can do in India

We have a number of volunteer projects where you can give back to the community and help provide much needed child care and support in Rajasthan, as well as other similar projects in Jaipur, Himanchal and Goa. We also have a number of projects to help empower the community and to support local teachers in our community education initiatives.

Each of these projects will be matched to your skills and preference but will also take into account the needs of the community at the time of volunteering. We strive to provide better prospects to women and children all over India, and you can be a part of this development working one step at a time for a brighter future.

What you can do in Nepal

Our volunteer projects aim to reach out to all areas of society that are disadvantaged or discriminated against. They include a program with a very holistic approach to helping Tibetan refugees and other Himalayan minorities in which you can get involved by helping to improve their literacy and by helping to manage a job database set up specifically for them.

You can also help to educate and take care of children with HIV who are often shunned by society; with your support we can help improve these children’s feelings of self-worth and give them the chance to become valued members of society.

We provide support to women’s rights groups and you can provide valuable assistance to a wide range women’s rights projects, from administration support, to working in a women’s shelter, to outreach work in rural areas, this project reaches out to women to support them in all aspects of their lives.

You may also become involved in teaching English to Monks, teaching school children in under-funded schools, helping small businesses, working in orphanages, and providing medical assistance in a public hospital.

What you can do in Philippines

We have an important volunteer building project helping to build new homes for local community members. With a high birth rate and families unable to look after the children, there is a major need for volunteers to work in the orphanages.

Our community volunteer project allows you to get involved in our sponsorship programme, community centre activities and refurbishment work. One of our most popular projects is teaching English in the surrounding rural schools as the children are very enthusiastic about learning, making for a great experience.

What you can do in Thailand

Our volunteer projects are based in various locations around Thailand, from the rural beauty of Surin to northern hill tribes of Chiang Mai. From the stunning island of Koh Tao to lush village of Chiang Rai, there are projects for everyone in Thailand.

We have many community projects including the opportunity to Teach English to the Children of Koh Tao Island and Teach English to Adults and Children of Rural Minority Groups and you can also help out on a community development project in Chiang Rai by working on our Community Building Projects for Rural Minority Groups. One of our most powerful projects is based in the northern of Thailand in Chiang Mai, and work to Provide Support to Victims of Human Trafficking.

What you can do in Vietnam

Many of our projects aim to work and help the most disadvantaged people in Vietnamese society. We have a number of volunteer projects working with disabled children in Hanoi and teaching English in orphanages.
