We have a bursary award available for young people from the UK to go on expedition to Tanzania, Costa Rica & Nicaragua or Borneo!
As a charity we work hard to make sure that our expeditions are accessible to everyone. We recognise that not everyone's personal situation is the same so we offer bursaries for all of our expeditions; open to anyone aged 17-24. This enables everyone to have a fair chance of taking part in Raleigh, especially those who, without this additional support, would find the full fundraising target a challenge too far.
You could be helping to provide a safe water supply for indigenous communities in Nicaragua or Borneo, conserving local endangered species in Costa Rica or working on elephant projects in Tanzania

Duration Details:
This award is for 5, 7 or 10-week expeditions throughout the year. You can still apply for our expeditions as a full fundraiser if you do not meet the eligibility criteria for the bursary.
Cost Details:
The fundraising target does not include the cost of flights. As a registered charity we encourage you to fundraise and can provide support with this.
Savings:
We offer bursaries to those who would find the full fundraising target a challenge. The award is for 5,7 or 10 week expeditions. Medical and travel insurance, food and accommodation are all included.
