This project is a charitable trust working with underprivileged children to give them free shelter, clothes, food, education and health care. The project offers children a brighter and safer future, as volunteer you will be an essential part of providing the orphans and homeless children of Goa.
You'll be volunteering out at the centre Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm. The centre cares for around 20 children aged between 3 and 5 years old, your activities will be focused on looking after the children and teaching English. You can get as creative as you like with songs and games and will also help teach the youngsters about the importance of basic hygiene.
Your weekends will be yours to take in the sights and sounds of Goa: why not set off on a river cruise on the Mandovi river, shopping at Panjim, laze on the beach at Calangute or Baga or explore the famous Dudhsagar waterfalls or Spice plantations where you can go for an elephant ride or wash an elephant, how much can you do in one weekend?!
