This placement would suit:

Experience the reality of South America in one of the largest shanty towns in the world. Help to construct homes for families, replacing their cardboard shelters with real homes. Bring the community to life while you entertain the children with games, shows, sports contests and other crazy ideas you may have.

The project for volunteers only runs for a few months of the year we therefore ask volunteers to make a donation to insure that it doesn’t suffer while we are away.

This placement would suit:

People who want to make a real difference, who want first-hand experience of real Argentinian culture and want a social experience. You can also learn Spanish while you're there. No qualifications or previous experience necessary, just a good dose of enthusiasm!

Prices start from £795 for 2 weeks and include food and accommodation, 24/7 support and backup before you go and throughout your placement, as well as meeting you at the nearest airport. When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at £120 per additional week.

This placement would suit:

The constant flow of travellers to their shores hasn’t blunted the enthusiasm with which Peruvians welcome new arrivals. A cool glass of the famous Inca Cola awaits everyone, especially those who have come to volunteer their time and efforts. Keep a couple of cans handy as they’ll go down well with the kids at this charity which works with around 270 abandoned or orphaned girls.

10 -15 minutes by public transport to get to the project (budget approximately US$15 per week)
