Malawi’s reputation is deserved. Its people are some of the friendliest on the continent and the beauty of this project is that it exposes you directly to their warmth and guarantees you unforgettable memories. 34% of the population can be threatened by famine. 65% live below the poverty line. An estimated 560,000 children have been orphaned by HIV/Aids.
Each village community often supports over a hundred of these orphaned and vulnerable children. By volunteering and joining this project you can help these children get a better start in life.
What to expect.
- Work closely with rural and township communities in Malawi
- Help develop and improve living conditions for the future of Malawian children and their families
- Kayak on Lake Malawi or take a boat safari past hippos and elephants in Liwonde National Park
- Construct new buildings for a sustainable future

Duration Details:
Spend 6 weeks working and living alongside the rural community of Pensulo. Work with orphaned children and then experience an incredible 6 week expedition from Malawi to Durban.
