Few projects offer such a culturally rich experience. Volunteers become immersed in the traditional Fijian way of life while contributing to the local community. It will suit applicants who are proactive, outgoing and willing to think outside the box, as resources can be in short supply.

Gap year students, graduates and young career breakers who want to make an impact to youth, sports and building projects in remote communities in Fiji before sailing, kayaking and trekking the South Pacific Islands on a guided expedition.

Cost details:

Price includes all food, accommodation, transport and a substantial donation to purchase all of the resources to achieve the development projects. Adventure phase includes white water rafting, kayaking, tall ship sailing, sand boarding, jungle treks and spear fishing trips.

Young and adventurous individuals with a passion to make a real impact to youth, sports and building projects in remote Fijian islands. Finish your project with an all inclusive island safari - trek, raft, spear fish, sandboard and sail a tall ship!

Includes 3 day tall ship sailing safari, white water rafting, sand boarding, river kayaking, 4 x rainforest treks, diving, spear fishing and 5 days marooned on a tiny castaway island.

The work is challenging: conditions are tough, accommodation is basic and the food is very different to what volunteers are used to at home. However, the entire experience is truly exhilarating and rewarding.
