Some one with a can-do attitude who is willing to make the most of their placement and above all enjoy it, who enjoys teaching English as a foreign lanaguage, who is sensitive to the predicament of under privileged children, interested in poverty and development issues and interested in music and culture of Latin America.

Those on teaching placements take a one-week Teaching Skills Course before departure which is in London for 5 days and the cost is included in the fee. Volunteers also have the option of a one-week Portuguese course in Brazil.
