If you are looking to volunteer in Africa or looking for a gap year in Africa then we have a number of quality volunteer projects that you can get involved in.

Our volunteer projects in Africa focus on Wildlife research, conservation and environmental education. We offer projects in Kenya, South Africa,  Zambia and Zimbabwe.

What you can do in Kenya

Kenya, a country with some of the most amazing wildlife in the world, provides some fantastic tourism opportunities for the country. One project that seeks to conserve Kenya’s iconic wildlife whilst also providing Kenyan’s with the opportunity to benefit from the tourism opportunities that their native wildlife brings is our Masai Mara lion, wildlife research and conservation project. This project provides you with the opportunity to help conserve lion populations by carrying out vital research and also to assist in a school which provides local people with the knowledge they need to become guides and benefit from the tourism in the area.

What you can do in South Africa

Over the past half century South Africa has undergone many transformations physically and socially. It has developed into a fantastic country and the natural landscapes and wildlife are quite a sight.

We have a fantastic conservation, photography and community volunteer program, which is a dream project for photography enthusiasts as not only do you learn but you also help educate the St. Lucia children and give community support.

What you can do in Zambia

Volunteering in Zambia puts you in the middle of one of the most spectacular environments in the world, with the Zambezi river, Victoria falls and Hwange National Park.

For those interested in conservation and wildlife then our Lion rehabilitation and release program will be a great program for you. It is one of three unique programs in Africa helping to conserve and improve Lion populations.

What you can do in Zimbabwe

Our Zimbabwe volunteer projects are the epicentre of our Lion breeding, rehabilitation and release program. The lion program headquarters is in Antelope park and we also have a lion release program in Victoria Falls. These two programs along with the neighbouring Zambia lion project are some of the most cutting edge programs with regards to improving the lion population in Africa.
