people keen to work a six-day week usually for 8 hours per day and in good physical condition. A basic command of spoken English is essential. No specific experience required but must have good teamwork skills.

Food is not included but there are food preparation facilities and storage at the accommodation.

You can extend your ticket and insurance for up to 12 months but the scheme ends after 4 months. However, AV are always there for you, even when the scheme has ended.

£2700 for three months. Each additional month is £475. The price also includes unlimited health, public liability and baggage insurance, Spanish CD course, an excellent two-week Spanish course with one-to-one tuition, local transport, full weekend trip, comprehensive in-country support, membership of South America Explorers Club, thorough UK and Ecuador briefing, teacher training course, fundraising advice. All volunteers are individually met and briefed in the UK.
