Surfing and turtle conservation

Surfing and turtle conservation

Ref:
GYC 2136
Countries:
Costa Rica

those who love the great outdoors (and Costa Rica has some great outdoors!) A real desire to help an endangered animal is important too as it will keep you going on those long days! You do not need to be able to surf but you must be a good swimmer and have a fun and positive attitude, which will come in handy if you keep falling off! The work and lessons are hard so be prepared to fall asleep exhausted each day.

Sea Turtle Conservation

Ref:
GYC 3437
Countries:
Costa Rica
Duration:
from 4 week

Someone who loves working in the outdoors and be happy without any luxuries. There will be a range of activities that you can help with so be prepared to muck in! You will be required to take part in night patrols and also work during the day and so this work can be very tiring. Please note there is no guarantee that you will see any turtles but it is more than likely you will come into contact with them during your placement!
