Take part in a fun but very important sea turtle conservation project on the tranquil and beautiful coast of Guatemala. You'll help to conduct nightly beach patrols to investigate turtle nesting activities, bringing any exposed eggs back to the hatchery. You'll also help with research at the conservation centre, learning about Olive Ridley and Leatherback turtles.

Anyone who wants first-hand experience of real Central American culture and who has initiative and enthusiasm. You can also learn Spanish while you're there. You need to be either studying physiotherapy or have graduated in Physio and wish to follow it as a future career.

The project welcomes medical students, nurses, and doctors to assist. You should have some knowledge of medicine, and intermediate Spanish skills to take part in this project. If you don’t feel that your Spanish is up to scratch - we can help!
