Volunteers working in the Orphanage Work Program in Nepal will render invaluable help by giving love and affection to the children, act as an older sibling to the children, teaching them basic conversational English, helping them in their school subjects, guiding them about personal hygiene and sanitation, taking them out on small excursions and engaging them in extracurricular activities and doing administrative work with the Orphanage staff.

Alternatively, other volunteers in South Africa work in the great outdoors as Outdoor Activities Instructors or as Caring Assistants in orphanages or schools for children with disabilities. Summer volunteers depart in July and spend 2.5 months living an volunteering in South Africa.
