Home to more than 30,000 street children Mombasa is a city that definitely needs your help! We work with several different community development projects that receive no financial support and are in desperate need of volunteers.

You will be working at a care centres and homes Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am – 5pm. Most days will be varied depending on what you’d like to get involved in, take your pick of playing with the children, teaching English, helping with homework or just helping out with general care including cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and tidying.

Weekends are free to do what you like with, head to the stunning beaches just 20 minutes away by matatu, wander around Fort Jesus and Mombasa’s Old Town or put your organising skills to the test and arrange something for the children at the weekend!
