Graduate programmes throughout the UK: The disciplines we offer are extremely varied, but fall into four main service line areas:
Undergraduate programmes throughout the UK:
- Summer Vacation Scheme.- This is a paid work programme specifically for undergraduates in their penultimate year. You’ll get the chance to spend the summer with us and learn first hand about what we do.
- Industrial Placement. - This is offered to students who need to work for 6 to 12 months in industry as part of their four year degree.
- Other Early ID programs including Inside View for students in their last year at university.

Can you give your work title and what it is you actually do?
Associate. Audit (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) at Deloitte.
Were you always interested in finance/accountancy as a career?
I did a science degree at University but had always been good with numbers so it was something I have always wanted to pursue. After deciding not to work in a zoo it was a logical step to do accountancy.
How did you find out about this particular career/job
Through various graduate recruitment events and advice from friends who are in the industry already, who recommended it.
What do you like most about your job?
I really enjoy working with different clients every few weeks in various places around the country. Even though the work is meant to be the same, in reality every client is unique and this keeps the work fresh and interesting.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Lots of my friends were put off by audit because of the common perception that all you do is look at numbers everyday, and although this is true to a certain extent, there is a lot more than that! Like balances, amounts, values and figures
