When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at a cost of £110 per additional week.

This placement can be extended for any length of time (many of our volunteers do!), restricted only by any possible visa requirements.

This placement would suit:

Anybody with an interest and enthusiasm for media and photography. You do need some experience in photography but it does not have to be professional - you just need to be able to show that you have taken photographs of a good standard in the past. No knowledge of Mandarin necessary, but a little basic Mandarin will make your placement much more enjoyable. Computer skills and use of Word and Excel is an advantage for any journalism project. Who can do this Project? All projects are open to all nationalities. Unless otherwise stated, you need to be aged between 17 and 70+

What's not included: Flights, Insurance, Cost of Visas (if a visa is required, but we'll provide necessary documents and assistance), Transport to and from work, Return transfer to airport. You'll also need some spending money for weekend travel opportunities, socialising etc.

This product would suit anybody looking to experience the real Argentina from the inside whilst also gaining excellent work experience in the competitive world of radio journalism. A minimum level of intermediate Spanish is required for this project. If your Spanish is not up to standard, Travellers also runs intensive language courses in Argentina which we can arrange for you.
