This project gives you the fantastic opportunity to help out on a working farm in Namibia. You will live and work on a 25,000 hectare reserve which is home a wide variety of animals including Baboons, Wild Dogs, Cheetahs, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Meerkats, Springbok, Warthogs and Hartebeests!

As a volunteer on this fascinating programme you will normally be working in a group of approximately 5 people, starting bright and early at 8:00am and finishing at 5:30pm, with regular breaks.

You will be assisting with a range of tasks including preparing food for the resident animals, maintaining and building new enclosures and taking the mischievous Baboons out on their daily walk to helping out with the general maintenance and upkeep of the farm. Once or twice a week there may be the opportunity for you to babysit the cheeky little baby Baboons, taking them into your room to sleep for the night!

At the weekends you’ll have Saturday afternoon free to relax and take up some optional extras such as abseiling, mountain climbing, bush trekking or paintballing and all day Sunday to set off and explore or chill out at the reserve.
