Teaching and TEFL
Teaching English as a foreign language is a popular gap year option worldwide.
If you’re thinking about teaching as a career, TEFL is a perfect starting point. And you can make a career of TEFL in itself. It’s one of the best ways of funding travelling the world for the whole of your life.
There are all sorts of ways to do it – and many schemes have real social benefits for students. Learning English is one of the best routes out of poverty for kids in much of south-east Asia and Africa.
