Schools and caring placements - Canada

"Looking around the available agencies with the help of my careers counsellor, internet, parents and friends, I came to the decision that Lattitude was the only agency that offered everything I was looking for - a wide variety of placements, security (both for me and my parents) and value for money. After meeting with them in their offices in Reading we agreed that Camp Campbell Gard would be the most suitable placement for me. I spent months raising the money by doing a sponsored 10km run, receiving a bursary from my school, working as much as I could and saving as I knew it’d be worth it. Though when it came to the day I was due to fly out I was petrified! Hundreds of thoughts flew through my head - 'Was this the right choice?' 'What happens if I don’t like it?' But when I walked through the door of my new house on camp I felt right at home. I knew right then that the next 8 months would be unforgettable.
