motivated and adventurous school leavers, students and graduates aged 18- 24 years old who want to put something back and make a difference in the developing world whilst enjoying a total adventure experience.
Duration details:
You can extend your ticket and insurance for up to 12 months but the scheme ends after 4 months. However, AV are always there for you, even when the scheme has ended.
someone who can show patience and initiative to cope with the large number of children in your classes. You will work closely with local teachers, but for those with more experience and confidence, there will be opportunities for independent teachers. Your resources will be limited so you will have the chance to use your imagination and creativity to get the most out of your time. Skills in any extra curricular activities will be welcomed at this project, with particular emphasis on sports coaching and environmental awareness.
People who want to make a real difference, want first-hand experience of real African culture and who have initiative. You can also learn Swahili while you're there. No qualifications or previous experience are necessary, just a good dose of enthusiasm!

When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at a cost of £75 per additional week.
