People who want to make a real difference, who want first-hand experience of real Argentinian culture and want a social experience. You can also learn Spanish while you're there. No qualifications or previous experience necessary, just a good dose of enthusiasm!

Costs vary depending on how long you want to stay for. Prices start from £795 for 2 weeks and include food and accommodation, 24/7 support and backup before you go and throughout your placement, as well as meeting you at the nearest airport. When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at £120 per additional week.

This is a great opportunity to teach English in the heart of Rio's 'favella' communities. Rio is always striking but not always for the right reasons; much of its population live in inadequate housing and have no access to the opportunities we take for granted. Working with one of two organisations, you can make a real difference at a grassroots level, equipping children and adults with the language skills necessary to build better and brighter futures.

You! If you are up to the challenge of helping a variety of different students whilst learning a new language and becoming immersed in a completely different culture. Volunteers must be mature and behave in accordance with their host families rules.

You will need to show flexibility and initiative and in turn, you will have the chance to develop your Spanish and build strong ties with your host family.

motivated and adventurous school leavers, students and graduates aged 18- 24 years old who want to put something back and make a difference in the developing world whilst enjoying a total adventure experience.

You can extend your ticket and insurance for up to 12 months but the scheme ends after 4 months. However, AV are always there for you, even when the scheme has ended.

Those who enjoy teaching English as a foreign lanaguage, are sensitive to the predicament of under privileged children, are interested in poverty and development issues and are interested in music and culture of Latin America

Those on teaching placements take a one-week Teaching Skills Course before departure which is held in London and the cost is covered in the fee. Volunteers also have the option of a  one-week Portuguese course in Brazil.
