People who want to make a real difference, want first-hand experience of real African culture and who have initiative. You can also learn Swahili while you're there. No qualifications or previous experience are necessary, just a good dose of enthusiasm!

When you're on your placement, if you'd like to extend your time, you can do so at a cost of £90 per additional week.

Adventurous travelers who would like to explore off the beaten track Tanzanian destinations and contribute to educational development on Tanzania’s stunning Zanzibar Island, as well as enjoy the wildlife spectacle of the Serengeti National Park.
Lattitude placements suit individuals with a can-do attitude who are willing to make the most of their placement and above all enjoy it. It will also help if you are sensitive to the predicament of under privileged children, have an interest in issues of poverty and inequality and the rich biodiversity and wildlife of Tanzania.
