volunteers with a love of children who can think on their feet. China is a unique culture so be prepared to meet different people and come across different ways of doing things. Greet each with tolerance and warmth and the communities will show you their famous hospitality. You will need to have patience and as much imagination as your students! Working with children can be fun and exciting but you never know what they are going to do next, so be flexible!
Lattitude placements suit individuals with a can-do attitude who are willing to make the most of their placement and above all enjoy it. We especially look for volunteers with interests in extra-curricular activities such as sports or music. Placements in China offer excellent experience of teaching large classes.
