Sure, planes are quicker, but they’re expensive and you don’t really see anything from all the way up there, and unless you’re flying first class they’re not exactly the most comfortable way to get around. And yeah, busses are cheaper, but they’re also slower, more dangerous and blooming uncomfortable. Trains, on the other hand, strike a happy medium: they’re affordable, comfortable and you get to see the country you’re travelling through.
