gapyear.com is looking for interns
Are you a keen writer who loves travel and all things social media?
We’re looking for a super enthusiastic intern to get on the job training and valuable work experience in our wonderful gapyear.com world.
The internship is unpaid although you will get expenses. You’ll also learn the basics of working in social media for a business and get your work published on gapyear.com too. You’ll be supporting our Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+ channels following our social media strategy and under my watchful eye. This isn’t just an opportunity to hone your tea making skills – although we’re all expected to muck in – it’s also a chance to take your first step into the working world.
I’ve done internships and work experience placements and know too well the importance when it comes to standing out from the crowd when applying for paid jobs. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a great team who will teach you everything they know.
We’re looking for someone with their finger on the pulse when it comes to social media platforms and producing fun content. It’s pretty hectic here so we’re looking for a good organiser full of initiative too.
The internship is full time for one to three months depending on you and us. It’s based in New Malden in Surrey, just 20 minutes from Waterloo. If you want to apply, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org stating all your social media channels and attach a 400-word article on an amazing travel experience you’ve had or want to have. A quick overview of how you’d promote this via our social media feeds would be great too.
