It seems like there's a new article every day about how so-called 'millennials' are killing *insert old-fashioned industry here*, but no one's talking about the business opportunities young people are creating.
One such example is new airline Joon, which claims it will cater specifically for 18-to-35 year olds (an age group often referred to as millennials). Created by Air France, it remains a little unclear what this approach actually entails.
"With Joon, we have created a young and connected brand that will give the Group new impetus," said Dominique Wood, Air France's executive vice president of brand and communications. "Designed for our millennial customers, it will offer more than just a flight and a fare, it will offer a global travel experience."
This means it will probably involve emojis somehow.
The name Joon is a play on jeune, the French word for 'young.' More details about the airline will be revealed in September. Probably via a cat meme or something.
