Fancy zooming along a zip line that’s the length of 28 football pitches?
Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will soon give you the chance, as it plans to open the world’s longest zip line in December this year.
The zip line will launch from the emirate’s highest peak, Jebel Jais, and hit speeds of between 90-130kph. The exact length of the zip line won’t be revealed until it opens, but it’s expected to be three times the length of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building found in Dubai.
Even better, the project will actually feature two lines side-by-side, allowing you to enjoy it alongside a friend or partner.
Ras Al Khaimah is the northernmost emirate of the UAE, usually known for its incredible beaches and mountains. At 1,934 metres above sea level, Jebel Jais is the country’s tallest peak.
Fancy it, adrenaline junkies?
