If you are travelling to New Zealand make sure you bring enough underwear as it’s impossible to buy it here!
Basically, went out to buy a bra, and they seem to think that everyone wants a sparkly hyper padded creation, apart from people who are size 50KK, who get a nice plain number.
Probably could have found something if I’d looked longer, but where is M&S when you need it?????
What? They Don’t sell underwear?
But useful information to know nonetheless, n’est ce pas? 😉
I have a problem finding bras that I like * that are in my size over here, so god knows what it would be like in New Zealand! 😕
Ooooooh so yes, I know that feeling 😕 And then add to the fact that hte measuring system in Canada (or at least, at La Vie En Rose in Montreal ;)) is totally different from that in the UK, and you have one very confused Lyss 🙂
I know exactly what you mean, I have a similar problem with clothes in America. Does anyone know what a size 8 is in America? I mean I managed to buy a skirt over there & it was a size 0 😕 😕 !
Ok, so I exaggerated a bit, but the point was unless you wanted a push up bra (not exactly the most comfortable or easiest to wash) or a granny bra (hmmm only 400000 cotton plants died to make that) then there wasn’t much choice.
Tupacs lady – i THINK the us sizing is 2 whole sizes lower (ie 4 numbers lower – so a US 8 is a UK 12, and a UK 8 would be a US 4. Please note the THINK, i’m not 100% sure! which means a size 0 is a UK 4….. something i will never fit into!)
Tess is right – I know because I shop in Gap way too much. A UK 8 is a US 4.
