Hey! I’m head to Vietnam at the beginning of March to start a year of solo travelling. I’m just wondering what places people recommend to check out. I plan to spend 2-3 weeks in Vietnam. I’ll be starting in Hanoi and heading down south. Any advice would be awesome.

I look forward to meeting lots of new people.

I have traveled in the north of Vietnam before, so these are my suggestions in the north:

Halong Bay - Surely you should choose because the scene of limestone rock and the sea combined perfectly, to avoid touristy areas, i recommend you to book cruise with the itinerary to Bai Tu Long Bay

https://www.halong-bay-cruise.com/mid-range-cruises/bai-tu-long-junk-2-days-1-night/ Here is the cruise that I had booked for my trip. Friendly staffs, solid room and services, exciting itinerary

Sapa: Beautiful as the pictures of the travelers, the rice terrace may urge you to take a skateboard and slide onto it.

Ninh Binh: With so many beautiful attractions in just one small area. You can visit Ninh Binh for one day but will remember it forever.

And here’s the website for Sapa and Ninh Binh tours

Happy Trip!!!
