Featuring some of the most famous beaches in East Africa, a massive expanse of wildlife areas which are home to some of the most iconic animals in the world, the tallest mountains in Africa, a hub of of both local and wider African culture, Tanzania almost has it all.
Many Tanzanians grow up and reside in rural areas, where low socioeconomic status and accessibility issues contribute to a lack of education and healthcare. Social Work & Community Care Outreach interns assist social workers and healthcare professionals with the delivery of services to people within their own homes and communities.
Interns are matched according to an analysis of their skills, experience, educational background, and duration of stay. The specific details of the assigned placement will be provided to interns who have confirmed their participation, prior to their chosen start date. We encourage applicants to submit a comprehensive application and state any placement/activity preferences when applying.
Find out more information on our website, it’s free and non-obligatory to apply, but it helps us to provide further guidance and provide instructions on how you may confirm your internship experience abroad.
