On this internship, you will be able to work at a centre, based in the Amazon rainforest, which has 4 hectors of land used for wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release. A local family who works with the Ministry of the Environment and the Environmental Police founded this project. The centre is home to over 200 animals including parrots, wild cats and monkeys. By joining us in Ecuador, you will be able to gain first-hand experience of practices being taken to positively impact the lives of birds and animals.
This veterinary internship allows students to see a range of areas such as pharmacology, clinical pathology, anesthesiology and physiology. The centre benefits from receiving interns who have knowledge and some training in the areas that relate directly to animals.
