The most incredible places for visitation

Updated 2 months, 2 weeks ago

To travel means to get something new from other cultures and nations. During a journey we let all the thoughts go and allow yourself to breathe and enjoy the life.

Let me tell you about the most unbelievable places of interest.

The Door to Hell, Turkmenistan

There is The Door to Hell in the center of the Kara-Kum desert. Local residents have given such name to the Darvaze crater because it’s the most mysterious phenomenon in the whole world. Its diameter is about 60 meters and depth is 20 meters. The history of this place is very interesting. In the 1970s Russian geologists have discovered a large amount of underground gas.

But when they started to drill a well, the ground came down under them together with machinery and equipment. Luckily no one has suffered. It was decided to burn the gas because it was extremely detrimental for environment and people. They believed it would burn off within a day but gas has been burning more than for 40 years.

Sea Life Aquarium, Finland

It’s located on the territory of Linnanmäki (i.e. amusement park). Sharks swimming above your head, a shoal of piranhas from the jungle of South America and the Ice Age exhibition will make your visit unforgettable. Here you can see octopus, stingrays, tropical fishes and turtles as well. It has over 50 aquariums with sea water. There is a ten meters long glass tunnel under the sharks’ pool which immerses visitors to a depth and makes it possible to observe the sea life.

Al Ain Paradise, UAE

It was awarded the certificate of the Guinness World Records as the biggest park of suspended beds of flowers in baskets. Although the visitation is free for all comers, but there is some schedule. The park is open only for women on Sundays and Wednesdays, on Fridays and Saturdays it can be visited only by families and at any other day it’s open for everyone. The park occupies the area of more than 21 thousand square meters. It's more than enough to get around it for two hours.

Cappadocia, Turkey

This is a unique natural area known for its unusual natural landscape and the large number of cave temples, cloisters and churches. The oldest underground cities in the world are located on the territory. The most famous among them are the settlements of Derinkuyu and Kaymakli. Cappadocia is popular by its Wish Tree which will make all your wishes come true.

Troy, Turkey

The exact copy of the Trojan horse is near the main entrance of the city. Everyone is allowed to enter this ancient construction. You can visit the Museum of the excavations where you will find the models and photos which reflect the city’s view in different periods of time. There is a Pithos garden with water pipes and antique clay pots. But the main places of interest of Troy are the ruins. The parts of stone foundation on the courtyard are all that remains of the temple.
