What do you do when you have to catch a boat at 7am in the morning?- meet a couple from Melbourne and spend a night on the town. Funny though, went to a go go bar. You should see the ladyboys they are so glamorous. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner who kindly showed us her new boobs and lady garden (without prompting and which needed a wax i may add). She then proceeded to high 5 me (in which i recipricated automatically)- very amusing.
Arrived in Ko Phi Phi (red hot) beach lovely. Tsunami more or less cleared this island completely but they seem to have recovered well too. Quite rowdy here, lots of bars and stuff. There is a view point that you can (climb) to and you can see lots (legs still killing- had to buy some lotus oil to rub on them) Found great restaurant called Papaya. The staff are lovely and you get huge portions of cheap thai food. The cat sleeps in the drinks fridge as he is too hot- very funny.
Caught boat to Krabi- boat had seen far better days and encountered a storm in the sea. I honestly thought we were gonna's. Boat had to slow right down and you couldn't see out due to the thrashing rain and waves plus the boat was leaking everywhere. Staying on the mainland (Ao Nang) till weather calms a bit, (and i get over the whole boat thing). Storm today- never seen so much rain it's mad! Taking opportunity to do some washing (well Ste is) and really need to be out of the sun for a bit. They will be trying to poach us for handbags soon. Just going to drink our tea and eat another kilo of sweet lychees from our man in the truck up the road (20 B, twice as much in Phi Phi). Staying in nice hotel (400B) with sea view- staff nice. It's crazy how you can spend the same amount on a meal (we are more careful to eat cheaply) as it costs for a room or massage (the girls work so hard and are really holistically in tune). I hope we don't get washed away!
